        Modern methods and technologies of information processing in education are a relatively new direction of statistical science, which was formed from the combination of mathematics, economic statistics, and econometrics. The task of the discipline within econometrics is not only in order to discover laws and relationships that exist objectively and to describe them using mathematical methods. Economic statistics accumulate all information about processes that take place in a real educational space and embody practical experience.

       The educational discipline "Modern methods and technologies of information processing in education" is a basic academic discipline and is studied according to the training plan for full-time students of specialty 011 "Educational Sciences". It contains theoretical and practical knowledge about the qualitative and quantitative properties of educational systems, an assessment of the relationship between quantitative indicators of the development of the educational sector, and econometric models of educational processes in the domestic and European space.
