The purpose of the discipline is the formation of a set of theoretical knowledge and skills of students regarding the systematic assessment of organizations, identifying internal reserves for the rational use of material, labor and financial resources, ensuring targeted
use of enterprise personnel.
The object of study of the discipline is labor.
The subject of studying the discipline are the laws and methods of formation and efficient use of labor resources, as well as economic and social-labor relations that arise regarding the use of labor.
The objectives of the discipline are :
- the study of the essence and mechanisms of economic processes in the world of work in
- the context of the life of a person and society;
- the study and use in practice of the methods of expenditure of working time and rationing of labor;
- identification of patterns of growth in productivity and labor efficiency;
- study of the main aspects of social policy;
- providing students with thorough knowledge on issues of remuneration and regulation of wages;
- study of labor market regulation mechanisms;
- study of the main aspects of labor reproduction;
- study of factors and reserves of effective employment;
- formation and rational use of labor potential;
- substantiationof trends in the formation and development of the global labor market and the activities of the International Labor Organization.
