The need to intensify Ukraine's participation in global integration processes raises the issue of radical increase of the international competitiveness of domestic enterprises.

Managing the international competitiveness of the enterprise (ICE) is a very specific and complex type of management activity and subject of knowledge. This is predetermined, firstly, by the complexity of the international competitiveness of the enterprise as an object of management, which synthesizes a whole range of interests and relationships between subjects of world-wide interaction and reflects the systemic effect of economic and non-economic factors. Secondly, the realization of the interests of even a separate entity of foreign economic activity objectively affects the interests of other countries, which complicates the mechanism of managing the international competitiveness of the enterprise - its organizational, structural-functional, informational and parametric characteristics.

The transformation of management of international competitiveness into an effective means of competition of domestic enterprises in world markets requires improvement of the quality of the system of training of specialists in higher educational institutions of Ukraine. This applies to all specialties and, above all, those related to the training of specialists in the field of international economics and management of foreign economic activity. The academic discipline "Management of International Competitiveness of the Enterprise" (MIMC) is a basic discipline and is studied in accordance with the curriculum for the training of specialists in the academic degree "Master" in the specialty 8.03050301 "International Economics" of full-time education.

The object of the discipline is the production and financial activity of the enterprise as a whole. The subject of discipline is an organizational and managerial mechanism for the formation, support and reproduction of the level of international competitiveness, necessary and sufficient for the established operation of the enterprise as a subject of international economic activity.The exercises for the course will be in the form of case studies that are prepared by teams of students. The evaluation of the case study is part of the final grade.

The academic discipline " Management of FEA" is a compulsory educational discipline and is studied in accordance with the studying plan of Master`s Degree Program International Economics of studying forms.

The aim of this course is the formation of a system of knowledge on the theoretical foundations, organizational and management models and technologies for the formation of international competitiveness and skills, skills and competences of their practical use in management of international economic activity of the enterprise.
